Summary of our time at Railtex 2023
RUGGED MOBILE Systems exhibited on Stand C35 at the Railtex / Infrarail Exhibition, at the NEC, Birmingham, from 9th to 11th May 2023.
Railtex, the International Exhibition of Railway Equipment, Systems & Services, took place on 9th – 11th May 2023 at the NEC, Birmingham.
Railtex covers all aspects of railway technology and provides a showcase for manufacturers in the major fields of rolling stock technology, track and infrastructure and signalling and communications. The exhibition also serves as a shop window for suppliers of the many other specialised products essential to the efficient and safe operation of railway and public transport systems. Among these are vehicle maintenance equipment, fare collection systems, rolling stock leasing, electronics for rail applications and cable technology.
RUGGED MOBILE Systems has for the past thirteen years been the UK value added partner and distributor for NEXCOM Inc – a world leader in the design and manufacture of mobile computing platforms. These platforms include an extensive range of solutions specifically developed and certified for use on rolling stock.
The NEXCOM range is continually being extended to keep abreast of the latest technical advances in computer technology and ensuring that these advances are available for the benefit of on-train applications. We presented several rail approved (EN50155 & EN45545) rolling stock PCs on our Stand C35.
We also presented a range of rugged tablets, handheld and convertible/detachable and standard rugged laptops ideal for a broad range of on/off train rail uses.
