Contamination Expo Series Exhibition 2019

RUGGED MOBILE Systems had a cracking few days engaging with some really interesting companices at the Contamination Expo in Sept 2019 at the wonderful NEC in Birmingham, UK. 

The Contamination Expo Series is Europe’s largest exhibition and conference designed to showcase the latest innovations that further the protection of the environment and management of contaminated land, water, and air. 

We presented a wide range of rugged mobile computing hardware, including robust Windows and Android Tablets, Notebooks, Detachable Notebooks, handheld devices, sub-metre accuracy GPS modules and powerful fixed position computers ideal for use in many contamination related activites from data capture during site investigations, ongoing monitoring and for data capture during remediation works, flood and spill response.  We also presented some 'hands-free' carrying solutions on the stand for those users who need a mobile device with them out on site, but also need to keep working on other tasks.

We took along a number of ATEX Zone 1/21 and ATEX Zone 2/22 approved tablets and handhelds ideal for hazardous areas with risk of explosive atmospheres. 

The new Handheld Nautiz X6 phablet sized (6") device with optional barcode reader module was of particular interest and has been out on trial continually since the show!
