From 1st August 2019, the Aegex10 IS ATEX Zone 1/21 tablet will ship with Windows 10 IoT Enterprise
RUGGED MOBILE Systems would like to advise all customers that in order to better serve industrial operations’ real-time communications and data management needs, Aegex intrinsically safe tablets shipping on 1 August 2019 and after will have the latest version of the Windows 10 IoT Enterprise operating system (OS) rather than Windows 10 Pro. This OS is designed for industrial use by providing longer support, managed releases and enterprise customization.

Windows 10 IoT Enterprise is a full version of Windows 10 that provides greater enterprise manageability and security that are typically required in industrial applications. Windows 10 IoT Enterprise shares all the benefits of the worldwide Windows ecosystem and is a binary equivalent to Windows 10 Enterprise.
