RUGGED MOBILE Systems are 'Open for Business'

With regards the new National Restrictions from 6th January 2021 we are happy to confirm RUGGED MOBILE Systems Limited are continuing with our operations.  Our staff are now back in the office on a rotation basis and have full access to our systems when working from home.  We are currently avoiding face-to-face meetings but are here to talk on the phone, provide information over email and use Skype, Teams or Zoom where required and will respond to your email enquiries as fast as possible.  We can send out demonstration devices as usual.

Our supply chains continue to be somewhat impacted with regards production delays during the pandemic, however our manufacturers factories are now almost fully back at normal production levels in China, Taiwan, South Korea, the US, Hungary and Japan. We will highlight to customers on a case-by-case basis should any specific delays impact your orders.

Our staff have been made aware of the symptoms of the virus, in addition we actively encourage staff to maintain strict hygiene at all times.  With only one staff member in the office at a time this limits exposure greatly. Our offices undergo regular cleaning to ensure a hygienic environment and the business centre where our offices are located has also increased cleaning throughout the premises, in accordance with Government guidelines.   Additional procedures have been put in place regards receipt of deliveries and shipments out to minimise direct contact between courier drivers and our staff.

In addition, RUGGED MOBILE Systems continue to encourage our customers to review your forward forecast or future order requirements as the supply chain becomes ever more challenging and lead-times and prices increase. Please note the validity time on our quotations is now difficult to ascertain and varies between manufacturers - we'll note the validity period on each quotation.
